The Littleford Day Double Arm and Mixtruder high torque mixers are unsurpassed for compounding a wide range of heavy pastes, mastics, caulks, and other tough and hard-to-mix high viscosity materials such as silicone elastomers, filled epoxies, rubbers, hot-melts, and bulk molding compounds. Either type of machine may be effectively employed for shearing, kneading, and masticating material, which is fed in by sheets or chunks.
The Mixtruder is a machine that is designed much like the Double Arm with respect to the mixing action, but the Mixtruder incorporates a convenient extrusion type discharge.
